Euro 2012: The Third Matches in the Group Stage

Posted in Sports & Beer!, Sports at RNH on June 15th, 2012 by RattleNHum

Tomorrow starts the 3rd round of matches in the Group Stage of Euro 2012. Sweden and Ireland have been eliminated, but the other 14 teams all have an opportunity to move on, though some may need a little help from their “friends.”

Most of the matches have been fairly close, with 5 ties and 7 one-goal wins out of 16 matches.

Thus, nearly every team in the competition can advance with a big win in their third match, and nearly every team can be sent packing with a big loss.

The third set of matches continues to Tuesday.

All of the Group Stage matches for Euro 2012 will be played at noon or 2:45 pm NYC time.

Rattle N Hum, the best craft beer bar in NYC bar, has attracted energetic crowds for all of the Euro 2012 matches. Most bars can claim to have plenty of televisions and good pub food, but no other bar can match Rattle N Hum’s 40 taps of craft beer (except of course our sister bar, Beer Authority, the best sports bar in Times Square). We expect to have solid crowds on the weekend, but also to have a seat for everyone, unlike some smaller places where you stand five-deep at the bar and fight for a glimpse of the screen. That’s not our idea of a fun day of sports and beer. So come claim your own stool, order a pint of your favorite craft beer, and maky the best team win!

On Sundays, we offer our bottomless craft beer brunch, which includes a brunch or regular menu entree and 90 minutes of all the draft craft beer you can drink for a mere $39.95. We also offer “Kick the Keg” on Sundays, comprised of 5-10 lines of beer that we sell for a mere $5 per pint.

As with all our events, we’ll have these beers as long as they last; some will be gone within hours of being tapped, while others will be available all week. Of course, we regularly carry lines from each of these fine brewers all year long, as well.

We host similar events every Tuesday night, which helps explain why CBS called us the best craft beer bar in NYC.

See you Tuesday!

Have you tried our bottomless craft beer brunch on Sundays?

If you’re in midtown West, visit our sister bar, Beer Authority, the best sports bar in Times Square, featuring 80 taps of craft beer.

Give Dad What He Really Wants: an Endless Craft Beer Brunch

Posted in Brunch this! on June 15th, 2012 by RattleNHum

Memo to son/daughter: your dad doesn’t really want another shirt and tie or sentimental keepsake. Yes, he puts on a good show of effusive thanks that concludes with a big hug. But even as he’s hugging you, he’s thinking, “great, another donation to Goodwill,” or “pretty expensive for a paper weight,” and, most importantly, “I wish they’d just buy me some beer.”

Just in time for Father’s Day, this Sunday, we are introducing our Bottomless Craft Beer Brunch. Bring dad to Rattle N Hum on Sunday and treat him to any item from our brunch or regular menu, plus a bottomless glass of any of our 40 craft beers on tap for 90 minutes.

The cost for all of this? Just $39.95.

For those in your party who may not want to partake of this offer, we also offer our regular brunch menu till 4 pm, and our full menu all day and night, and a special all-day “Kick the Keg” price of $5 on selected drafts. We also offer a full bar of wine and spirits. Got kids? Rattle N Hum is a family friendly restaurant – children are welcome all day, until about 6 pm. We also show all sporting events, including Euro 2012.

Can’t make it to Rattle N Hum for Father’s Day? We still have the perfect gift solution for you! Come by during the week and buy a gift certificate for brunch that he can use any time. Alternatively, pick-up a half-gallon, take-home growler full of any one of our 40 craft beers on tap, and serve it to dad on Father’s Day. As long as you keep it reasonably cold, it should stay fresh for a week or more. It will be a real treat for dad, much better than handing him a can of light beer, or a never-to-be-worn shirt and tie.
